RK Motors MOT Centre is seeking an exceptional Senior / Master Vehicle Technician to join our highly skilled team at our Crawley MOT & Service Centre. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with 10+ years’ hands-on workshop experience, advanced diagnostic capability, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality workmanship.

The Role
As a Senior / Master Technician, you will take a lead role in the workshop, supporting junior technicians, overseeing complex diagnostics, and ensuring gold standard repair quality. Responsibilities include:
- Advanced diagnostics using industry-leading tools and equipment.
- Complex mechanical repairs across all makes and models.
- Expert-level cambelt and clutch replacements, including timing belt systems and clutch assemblies.
- Overseeing MOT preparation work and ensuring DVSA compliance.
- Interpreting technical data and manufacturer specifications.
- Road testing vehicles to validate repair accuracy and performance.
- Maintaining workshop standards, safety procedures, and equipment care.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a highly skilled professional with:
- 10+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician, Senior Technician, or Master Technician.
- Exceptional diagnostic ability and confidence working on complex faults.
- Proven experience with cambelts, clutches, and major mechanical repairs.
- Strong understanding of modern vehicle systems.
- High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
- Professional communication skills with both colleagues and customers.
- A proactive, positive attitude and strong teamwork ethic.
